Alan OgdenFITTONOn 26th April, very peacefully at home and surrounded by his family, Alan aged 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Hazel, loving dad to Nigel, Colin and Jennifer and proud grandad of James and Charlotte. 'Alan will be greatly missed by his loving family'. Service and committal will take place at Middleton Crematorium (Boarshaw) on Thursday 9th May at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please but donations if desired can be made to Springhill Hospice c/o S.Wellens and Sons, 121 Long St, Middleton M24 6DL, Tel 643 2677, to whom all enquiries should be made.

My dear supervisor at Salford University 1970-1972 were I earned my PhD in organic chemistry, I owe him so much.
I miss the tea club outings and the many drinks we had together.
I also thank him for the collaborative work here in Jerusalem and the joint project with students at the college of science and technology, may his soul Rest In Peace.
